Shayamanzi Houseboats
Shayamanzi Houseboats offers guests the opportunity to enjoy the stunning scenery of the Lebombo Mountains, and wildlife of the Pongola Game Reserve on the shores of Lake Jozini, Kwa-Zulu Natal. Shayamanzi ll accommodates 20 guests in six Deluxe, En-suite Cabins and four Pontoon, En-suite Cabins. The Deluxe Cabins have large sliding window doors and the Pontoon Cabins have porthole views that overlook the water and surrounding nature. It is also air-conditioned and has an en-suite bathroom. Guests also have the use of the Jacuzzi, lounge area, dining area, sun deck as well as a TV with DStv and a music system. The cruises include all meals, as well as bottomless coffee or tea, accommodation, Tiger fishing in season, game- and bird watching, an appropriately qualified and experienced Captain and Crew, as well as transfers from Jozini Tiger Lodge to the Houseboats.

The Game Reserves surrounding Lake Jozini host many animal species which can be seen in herds from Shayamanzi’s decks: White and Black Rhino, Elephant, Buffalo, Hippo, Crocodile, Wildebeest, Giraffe, Zebra, Kudu, Nyala, Bushbuck, Mountain Reedbuck, Common Reedbuck, Red Duiker, Grey Duiker, Waterbuck, Steenbuck, Suni Antelope, Black Backed Jackal, Hyena, Cheetah, Wild Dog, Cerval Cat, Warthog, Bushpig, Banded Mongoose, Legavaan, Terrapin and the occasional sighting of Leopard which roam the slopes of the Lebombo Mountain Range.

Shayamanzi ll offers six air-conditioned, En-suite (shower, basin and toilet) Luxury Cabins. Each Cabin Sleeps two passengers, in either a King Bed or two Single Beds. The Cabins are large, light and airy with large sliding window from ceiling to floor.

Pontoon Cabin, Shayamanzi ll has four Pontoon Cabins. Each Cabin is En-suite (shower, basin and toilet) and accommodates up to three guests; two in a Queen Bed and one in a Single Bed. Pontoon Cabins are airconditioned and have three viewing windows.
