Sundowner Lodge and Caravan Park
Sundowner Lodge and Caravan Park is situated just 500 m outside of Piet Retief and walking distance from the N2 Woodhill Mall. The property offers lodge accommodation, fully equipped and semi-equipped self-catering units and a caravan park. The large property features fully serviced self-catering units with en-suite bathrooms, fully equipped kitchens and lounge areas, while the caravan park has electrical points and a large lawn. Guests can also enjoy relaxing in our swimming pool, gym, braai and entertainment areas. Conference facilities are available on request and secure parking is available for guests' use. We have white blesbok, springbok, reindeer and ostrich currently in our Game Camp section. Pets allowed by arrangement.
Area Info
Piet Retief, officially eMkhondo, is a town situated in a timber-growing region in Mpumalanga province, located not far from the Eswatini border. The town was previously named after Voortrekker leader Piet Retief, who was killed by Zulu king Dingane at the start of the Great Trek in 1838. Piet Retief offers ample activities for guests to enjoy, with golf, fishing, birdwatching and many hiking trails available in the area.
