Sunset Lodge & Safaris, located near Orpen Gate in Hoedspruit, offers Dinner Bed& Breakfast accommodation along with a variety of bush activities such as game drives, bush walks, and bush picnics. We aim to provide the best Kruger Park Safari holiday experience, focusing on the needs of our guests and assisting with their itineraries. Feel free to ask for more information. Our lodge is ideally situated for visiting numerous tourist destinations, including Kruger National Park, Blyde River Canyon, Tzaneen, and Phalaborwa. Upon arrival, a once-off Conservancy Fee of R150.00 will be charged at the Entrance Gate. A minimum stay of 2 nights is required when booking accommodation with us. For the convenience of our guests, we have added a solar and battery power backup system, ensuring that essentials like lights and Wi-Fi are always on. We are on our way to becoming an energy-independent and 100% eco-friendly lodge.
Area Info
Sunset Lodge & Safaris is situated in the Guernsey Private Nature Reserve in Limpopo Province, approximately 40 km from the Orpen Gate of Kruger National Park. It is also conveniently close to Manyeleti Game Reserve, known for Big 5 Game Drives, and the Blyde River Canyon, also known as the Panorama Route.
From our lodge, you can enjoy a delightful day trip to explore either Kruger National Park or the Blyde River Canyon. Game drives within the Guernsey Reserve focus on plains game and nocturnal animals. Additionally, we offer bush walks on the reserve.
