Tenikwa Wildlife Centre
Tenikwa Wildlife Centre offers guests a unique nature stay at The Crags, near Plettenberg Bay in either our Lion Cabins, spacious Bed & Breakfast suites, or the luxurious Homestead. Sleep to the sounds of the lions roaring and enjoy a hearty breakfast overlooking the cheetahs. We offer freshly prepared South African dinners from our boma kitchen. Although some of the wildlife is visible from the accommodation, overnight guests can book guided tours at a discounted rate to see all the cats and get the full benefit of the Tenikwa experience. All rooms have en-suite bathrooms with showers. Wi-Fi is available, free of charge, to all our guests. Check in times are from 14:00 until 18:00 and check out times are from 07:30 until 10:00. Tenikwa is a licensed premise and therefore guests may not consume their own alchohol during their stay. We are a mere 15 minutes drive from Plettenberg Bay, on 46 hectares of indigenous Tsitsikamma Forest and Cape Floral Fynbos. Guests can relax and experience authentic South African hospitality whilst enjoying nature, wildlife and the most spectacular rural scenery. If you would like to support a genuine conservation project rehabilitating wild animals back to nature, Tenikwa is a natural choice!

We are conveniently located in the middle of The Garden Route on the main Cape Town to Port Elizabeth tourist route and just 1.9km off the N2 National Road (1.9 km). Tenikwa Nature Lodge is close to a variety of eco-adventure activities and wine farms. Tenikwa is ideal for accommodation near Plettenberg Bay. Whether you use us as a base, or stay for a night as you pass through the Garden Route, we look forward to hosting you.
