The Eyrie

The Eyrie is a free-standing triple-storey Swedish-style timber frame house that overlooks a wetland and the Suikerbos mountain. It is close to great restaurants and 5 minutes walk away from beautiful mountain walks, a trout fishing dam, mountain bike trails, and many good restaurants. Dullstroom is also the halfway mark to Kruger Park. The downstairs floor has two bedrooms that open up onto the downstairs balcony. Each room has a mini-bathroom with a shower. One bedroom has a queen-size bed and the other has twin single beds. The second floor has an open-plan kitchen, dining room, TV nook and lounge with another great fireplace. The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering and includes a dishwasher and washing machine. The second floor opens onto a balcony with a built-in barbecue and outdoor table and chairs. The top floor is the master bedroom with a queen-size bed, an en-suite bathroom with a bath and shower, a sauna, a big leather couch and a private balcony with outdoor seating. All rooms have a fireplace, and bath towels and bed linen are provided. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the property. There is a huge garden that we keep mostly wild because of the stunning wild orchids that come up in springtime. Free private parking is available.
