The Fernery Lodge & Spa
The Fernery offers guests breathtaking views; beautifully appointed and superbly furnished luxury rooms, tastefully and individually decorated. Open fireplaces in the lounge and dining room; a jacuzzi, sauna and a swimming pool ... are but some of the features that make the Lodge a really special destination. We have 7 various room choices. There is something for everyone, from the honeymoon couple to a family occupying a luxurious apartment chalet. Unfortunately, the lodge is not child-friendly. We recommend our chalets for families. All units are tastefully decorated and fitted with all amenities to ensure comfort and privacy.
Area Info
The area is covered in large tracts of indigenous forest, commercial plantations and fynbos fields. Deep river gorges cleft the plateau as they make their way down to the sea, creating spectacular waterfalls and deep kloofs.
A mild all year round climate allows one to make the most of all the outdoor activities that are on offer, whilst a high rainfall ensures the lushness of vegetation that the area is renowned for.
