The Grange
The Grange has been around for over 20 years and was the first BnB in Durban North. In January 2010 the new owners took it over and undertook massive renovations. Situated in upper Durban North, surrounded by other quality homes, The Grange is off the main road in leafy Monteith Place. Whether spacious and gracious or cosy and comfortable, all rooms at The Grange feature the same quality of furnishings, extra-long queen and twin beds, quality percale sheets, extra-large pillows, 32-inch flat-screen wall-mounted TVs with Dstv, safes (laptop available in some rooms), clock radio, hair dryer and quality tea/coffee tray with real coffee and a mini-fridge (We are currently not Liquor licensed so feel free to bring your own / there is a Tops just around the corner). Our bathrooms are state of the art with gebrit suspended toilets, Italian san ware and large frameless showers. Stunning lounge/reception area flows out to the large patio through folding stack doors making the space a unique area for a long breakfast and we can even do small functions for up to 20 people. The unique 'Indaba' room is on the 1st floor and has its own private roof garden with views of the city and sea. Enjoy a sundowner while watching the ships head to port. Other on-site facilities are a swimming pool, braai, parking area - much of it under cover and a leafy garden. Business facilities are also available as is Wifi internet access. Children are welcome at The Grange and we can loan items like a DVD player, DVDs, books, pool and beach equipment and we are flexible regarding breakfast items. We make a mean hot chocolate! Whether on business or for pleasure, The Grange can make your stay in Durban a very pleasant one

We are 10 minutes drive north of the CBD and Ushaka Marine world and 10 minutes south of Gateway Theatre of shopping and the swimming beaches of Umhlanga
If you are after sport we are 5 minutes from the beautiful Moses Mabhida Stadium and the Sharks Rugby stadium. In the same area, you will find two golf courses as well as a Virgin Active Gym. There is a GO Gym just down the road.

Front room has an extra long queen bed and sweeping sea views while the 2nd room has extra long twin (king) beds. Each room is private and separate but joined by a short private hall linking the bathroom.
