The Jackalope Claptons Beach 42 is a lovely self-catering duplex, located in the Clapton Beach complex within the secure Marina Martinique residential development between Jeffreys Bay and Aston Bay in the Eastern Cape. The townhouse apartment can accommodate up to 6 guests and comprises 3 bedrooms, 1 bathroom and a guest toilet, and an open-plan kitchen, dining and living area. The first bedroom contains a double bed. The second bedroom contains a tri-bunk bed with a double bottom bunk and a single top bunk. The third bedroom contains a bunk bed. The bathroom contains a shower only. The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering with a stove and oven, fridge-freezer, microwave, kettle, toaster, and a washing machine. The dining area contains a 6-seater dining table and chairs. The lounge offers seating and a Smart TV with access to YouTube and Netflix. The living area opens to a patio with a built-in braai. Secure parking is available for 1 vehicle per unit. Guests have access to the communal swimming pool in the complex and the canal that leads to the back of Marina Martinique. A remote-controlled gate in front of the complex leads to the beach. Guests can bring their own pedal boat, ski, or kayak or can hire a pedal boat to row in the 7 km long canal.

Marina Martinique is situated on the coastal plain between Jeffreys Bay and Aston Bay in the Eastern Cape of South Africa. The city of Port Elizabeth is 70 km to the east, where the nearest major airport is to be found. The N2 links Port Elizabeth to Jeffreys Bay before continuing to travel west to Knysna, 200 km away. Johannesburg is 1150 km to the north. Cape Town is 700 km to the west.
Once you have experienced a cruise on the 5 km of channels at the Marina or an hour or two of fly fishing after breakfast, perhaps followed by a leisurely stroll along the kilometres of sandy beach, you can lunch at one of the two beachfront restaurants Tapas & Walskipper.
There is also the prospect of cocktails at Marina Nina’s with friends on the Blue Flag beach while the kids are enjoying the paddleboats and any of the other kids activities
