The Knoll Guest Farm
The Knoll Historic Guest Farm is situated at the outset of the Midlands Meander, in the vicinity of Pietermaritzburg. Set on a hill where it’s cool and airy in summer and mysterious and misty in winter, Hilton is home to hedgehogs, hobbits and the odd myth. Experience history and culture as you gaze down into the valley and across the distant Drakensberg. We offer a variety of accommodation options to suit all guests in peaceful surroundings. All the rooms are tastefully decorated with some offering views over the forest and mountains. Relax in our beautiful garden or go for a forest walk on the property. For the adventurous traveller, the area offers many different activities such as mountain biking, horse riding, canopy tours, fishing, golf and bird watching. There are a total of 9 units on the farm, designated for our premier rooms. In addition, we can accommodate a further 10 budget travelers in our Bunk House unit, featuring 5 rooms with 2 single bunk beds in each. Communal kitchen/braai facilities, along with shared restroom and shower amenities. Additionally, there are two outdoor showers for those with an adventurous spirit. Accommodation is self-catered and serviced.
