The Castello at Kruger

Upon entering the lodge our trained house Manager, Renaldo, will welcome you with his warm hospitality and assist in taking your luggage to the designated rooms. The stunning first-floor entrance is an entertainer's dream offering a large 12-seater indoor dining area with a fully equipped bar, 85” flatscreen complete with Netflix & indoor braai area, overlooking the gorgeous outside lazy river, waterfall rock pool, and lushes garden with animals roaming freely. A fully airconditioned, open plan kitchen & scullery, completely stocked with all the luxury you desire from a coffee machine to air fryer, two large double door fridges and an additional freezer room. This kitchen is a delightful chef’s experience for the entire family to connect. A large billiard/ pool table is the centre of attention of this magnificent entertaining area, ideal for reconnection with the entire family and all your friends. On the first floor, surrounded by nature and its views, we offer four beautifully spacious bedrooms which consist of a queen-size bed, two single beds, a double bed with its own on-suite bathroom, and a bespoke four post queen size bed, offering a full en-suite bathroom, inter-leading into a private outdoor shower for that complete wild African experience! The bedroom also leads into its own private patio area where you become one with nature itself. The easy stepped staircase, leading up to the second floor of the paradise Castello, a buffalo leather cinema room experience is awaiting you with unlimited wi-fi and full Netflix. A step into the next section will lead you to the fun of a full 8-seater poker table complete with all cards and accessories for that late-night family fun. Also, a professional Hurricane Foosball table for unlimited joy and laughter! We offer three west-faced rooms with queen-sized beds and luxury linen. All three rooms offer all en-suite bathrooms (which include all amenities such as shampoo, conditioner, bubble bath & a vanity kit), hair dryers, and are fully airconditioned. Spectacular views from all angles. On the east side, we offer magnificent en-suite, double shower heads and an African egg bath experience, queen size bed, and a spacious private walk-in closet. The room provides next-level luxury with various seating areas and a flat-screen television. On the private, third floor, you can explore the spacious, one-of-a-kind, Star Gazing room with a National Geographic telescope by night or enjoy viewing the wild animals with an ice-cold cocktail, in this fully open-view glass surrounding experience.

Area Info

Marloth Park is a unique project. It opened in 1972 as a holiday township, though a large part of the park remained natural. There are no internal fences and the vegetation remains in its original state. Marloth Park is separated by a boundary fence and by the Crocodile River from Kruger Park. Within the park, there are giraffe, wildebeest, kudu, zebra, impala, bushbuck, warthog, baboon, vervet monkey and other small game and a rich bird life. Meanwhile, the infrastructure of the natural park is well developed.

Inside Marloth Park (3,000 hectares), the freedom of movement is remarkable. Tourists can ride a bicycle or go for a walk on their own through the African bush. Movement is not confined to the housing units. While walking along the Crocodile River, visitors can watch spectacular wildlife scenes in the adjacent Kruger National Park.
