The Potting Shed Guest House
Our guest house has a "No under 12" child policy. PLEASE NOTE: NO CHECK IN OR OUT 25th DECEMBER. We can accommodate up to 12 guests in 3 Standard rooms, 2 Deluxe rooms, a mountain view Studio room in Albertyn Street. The downstairs rooms at the guest house each have tea/coffee making facilities, flat screen DSTV, free WI-FI, safety deposit box, over-head fans, wall heaters, pool towels and an en-suite shower room. (Deluxe rooms have fridge, Nespresso coffee machine, private patio area with braai). Our upstairs Studio room is accessed from a private entrance, and includes a kitchen area with microwave/grill, fridge, kettle & toaster, Nespresso machine, bathroom with shower& bath, full DSTV, WI-Fi, & air con for those hot summer nights. The private deck is spacious with 2 sun-loungers, an undercover seating area, & gas braai. Breakfast at the Guest House boasts fresh fruit, yoghurt, cereal, toast, egg & bacon and a variety of homemade goodies: pancakes, rusks, preserves and fresh baked bread, freshly squeezed juice (in season). Guests are invited to enjoy the flood-lit pool area with sun-loungers, tables and chairs. They may also use the BBQ/braai. Utensils, glasses, crockery and cutlery are provided. The Potting Shed Guest House is ideally situated in a quiet side-street off Hermanus Main Road. Come and explore our town centre, restaurants, cliff paths and sea, all just a short walk away.

One hour, 30 minutes from Cape Town International Airport. 5 minute walk to cliff path & sea. 10 minute walk to town centre where there is an abundance of art galleries & restaurants, & small shopping mall. Whale watching boat trips 1km away, 3kms to golf course, 5kms to Blue Flag Grotto Beach. Fernkloof Nature reserve is at the end of our street with main entrance 3kms from guest house. Shark cage diving & Betty's Bay penguins 40 minute drive. 5kms to Hermanus wine valley where there are 8 boutique wine estates.
