The Sunset Beach House

The Sunset Beach House Apartments are located on Beach Road Strand – walk across the road, and a few seconds later you are on a pristine stretch of safe swimming beach. The Sunset Beach House has separate apartments, and is ideal for couples/small families, It is also possible to cater for larger groups by combining the two homes accommodation.

Only 40 minutes from the City of Cape Town, and 20 minutes from Cape Town International Airport, and all major wine routes, making it an ideal centrally located resort to enjoy the wonders of the Cape, whether for a holiday or business.
The Strand, is one of the most serene, pristine and best kept secrets of the Western Cape, South Africa. The main beach stretches over 5km, of safe swimming, excellent surf spots and safe waters ideal for kayaking and Stand Up Paddling. At times conditions for Kite Surfing are also ideal.
Being adjacent to Somerset West, the area boats quick access to world class restaurants, excellent wine tours and plenty of scenic hikes in the Helderberg Mountain.
Being based in Strand, is an ideal launch pad to Cape Town (40 mins drive), Hermanus for whale watching and scenic drive (40 mins) and visiting the Stellenbosch/Franschhoek winelands. Come back at the end of a busy touring day and enjoy the relative tranquility of a beach side stay in The Strand.
