There is a sheltered al fresco dining area for guests wanting breakfast at an additional cost, which overlooks the rock pool in the main garden.

The Treehouse River Lodge sits on the Sterkspruit River within the lush vegetation of Shongweni Valley.
On the premises guests will find the Western Barn Owl, which nests in the trees above the chalets, while the Sterkspruit River is home to the African Clawless Otter, who make an occasional appearance in the early morning and late afternoon.
If you listen very carefully while relaxing on your private terrace, you might even hear the cry, and see, the magnificent African Fish Eagle overhead.
