Thirsty Falls
Thirsty Falls is a self-catering, owner-run guest farm. The farm is nestled on the southern slopes of the Magaliesberg Mountain Range, secluded amidst the natural bush surrounds. Nature lovers, bird watchers, and those in need of a retreat are welcome to share this country haven with us. Accommodation comprises 2 studios, 3 cottages, and 2 holiday homes, which can accommodate between 2 to 6 persons. Each fully furnished option features 1 or more private bathrooms, a kitchenette or a well-equipped kitchen, and an open-plan living area with a log-burning fireplace. In addition, each unit offers free Wi-Fi access and sliding doors that open onto a balcony with a BBQ/braai area and stunning views to admire. Quality linen and towels are provided. No swimming towels are supplied. There is a natural water swimming pool with a wetland area with lapa close by. Guests also have access to the communal lounge with a TV at the main farmhouse. Free secure parking is available. Nature walks around the farm and mountainside are popular, with an abundance of bird life to be seen. Small wildlife is about in the surroundings. The venue is situated 3 km by farm road, off the main road R24, between Magaliesburg and Rustenburg, which is just over the border of Gauteng and the North West Province.

Thirsty Falls is within an hour's drive to most of the attractions, including Pilanesberg Game Reserve, Sun City, Hartebeespoort, and the many wildlife rehabilitation centres in that area. Adventure activities, hot air ballooning, hiking, horseback riding, fishing, and craft gin and beer eateries/restaurants are all close by.
