If the Western Cape's world-famous Garden Route had a capital it would be the seaside wonder that is Plettenberg Bay.

There are three amazing beaches all within a few minutes of the city centre each with great views and warm water. Lookout Beach is best for swimming and Robberg Beach is best for walking. Robberg is a Blue Flag beach so you know that the water will be clean and lifeguards will be on duty. Often you can see pods of dolphins playing in the waves - they are attracted by the warm water and travel past Plettenberg Bay en route to their breeding areas in Mozambique.
