Tranquility-Ukuthula Guesthouse is situated within the lovely Ntabamoya Game Reserve in the Central Drakensberg between Champagne Valley and Cathedral Peak, 2.5 hours from Durban and 3.5 hours from Johannesburg serving as the ideal halfway vacation point. Air-conditioned throughout, the lovely home offers 2 bedrooms with comfortable double beds and en-suite bathrooms with a bath, shower and toilet. Three comfortable single stretchers are available for children for use in any of the 2 bedrooms. The home has a guest toilet and all linen and towels are provided. The open-plan kitchen is fully equipped with a gas stove, oven, double-door fridge-freezer, Nespresso machine, ice machine, and a dining area. Guests have use of a washing machine with a washing line in the courtyard. The spacious living area has a central, large indoor fireplace for cold, winter evenings. The lounge area has comfortable seating, a TV with DStv and free Wi-Fi is available. Guests can relax on the wide front stoep which has a built-in braai and a Jacuzzi and the boma offers the feeling of a bushveld braai. The reserve is a bird watcher's paradise and home to a variety of antelope, giraffe, zebra, blue wildebeest, eland, warthog and more. Guests can visit and cool down in the communal swimming pool and use the braai facilities or visit one of the beautiful picnic spots. Guided hikes can also be arranged on request.
