Tshikwalo Game Lodge
Fully Self Catering or DB&B or B&B. We cater for your needs. Our 5 standard chalets(2 guests) offer a spacious room, private patio and braai area. Each chalet faces the bushveld, provide beautiful view and a chance to spot animals roaming around freely. 3 Luxury Chalets (2 adults and 2 children)) Ideal for Families with a spacious room with king size bed and sleeper couch. Outside patio and braai area. Our 2 Bedroom Chalet has a private Boma area, ideal for Families. Our 10 sleeper has 4 bedrooms with large kitchen, 2 bathrooms and private boma and stoep. Our venue can be hired for group function(corparate teambuilding, yearend functions, special birthdays) or corporate conferences. The fully fitted kitchen / dining hall, with a separate conference, makes it an ideal venue for groups of up to 60. The central boma and pool complete the facilities.
Area Info
Dinokeng translates into 'place of two rivers' - in this case the Elands and Pienaars - an area close to the town of Cullinan established as a tourist destination and part of a government initiative.
Free roaming lion and elephant, the first in over a hundred years in the Tshwane Metro, is an impressive draw card, as are white rhino, hyena, giraffe, leopard and buffalo.
The relatively young Dinokeng reserve, opened only in late 2011, is 18 500 hectares of former farming land restored for use as it originally must have been – as home to wild animals. The reserve has a number of accommodation options in separate game lodges, farm stays, bush camps and chalets.
