Uitzicht Lodge & Private Nature Reserve
Uitzicht Private Game Reserve and Lodge is a private game reserve situated in the picturesque Eastern Free State. Our lodge offers guests the option of self-catering units or luxury B&B suites. In the main lodge area you can enjoy drinks at our bar, meals in our restaurant or simply enjoy the breath-taking views while having a dip in our pool. Guests can book a game drive and picnic to enjoy sightings of our game species or take one of our amazing hikes on the property. Our cave overhang offers guests the opportunity to see and experience something truly unique by reading the story of the bushman paintings. Guests are welcome to try their hand at fishing. Strictly catch and release. Our lodge is fully backed up on a generator and you will experience no loadshedding when you visit us.
Area Info
There are several attractions in and around the area of Fouriesburg. Guests can visit the beautiful town of Clarens, called 'the jewel of the Free State' and can be described as a big open planned shopping mall for all art lovers. Golden Gate offers breath-taking views, horse riding and hosts over 100 bird species. Guest can also visit the Basotho Cultural Village.
