Umkumbe Safari Lodge
Umkumbe Safari Lodge is located in the Sabi Sand Wildtuin, considered by many to be the premier wildlife reserve in South Africa. Located on the banks of the seasonal Sand River, Umkumbe Safari Lodge is perfectly situated in one of the best Big Five game viewing destinations in Africa. The lodge sleeps a maximum of 20 guests in nine chalets/rooms and there are four chalets connected via an interleading doors. The interleading chalets are ideal for families. A communal boma area is where guests relax after their evening safari and exchange wildlife stories about recent sightings. During the hot Summer months guests can relax at the pool which overlooks the Sand River.

The Sabi Sand is next to the Kruger National Park. Umkumbe is in the middle of this Big 5 country between Mala Mala and Londolozi.
