Umtamvuna View Cabanas offers self-catering accommodation with panoramic views of the mountains, the Umtamvuna Gorge, the Umtamvuna River and a glimpse of the sea. Situated 8km from Port Edward beach, Wild coast hotel and Casino and the Umtamvuna Nature reserve. Umtamvuna View Cabanas features 5 self-catering open plan Cabanas. Cabana 1,2 and 5 each accommodate 2 Adults sharing in each while Cabanas 3 and 4 are family Cabanas and can accommodate 2 adults sharing plus 2 children under 16 years of age. There is a large sparkling pool and braai area with breathtaking views. All cabanas offer a Queen size bed, En-suite Bathroom facilities, Bath Towels, hairdryer, Cupboard space and ceiling fan. Lounge area with lounge suite, Basic package DSTV, fully equipped Kitchen with Microwave, Dishwasher, Kettle, Toaster, Refrigerator/Freezer, ceiling fans and complimentary once off Coffee and tea. Port Edward is situated on the South Coast of KZN, There are many places of interest, Be it hiking, waterskiing, jet skiing, mountain and quad biking trails, horse trials, river cruises, fishing, whale watching. It is all available within close proximity to Umtamvuna View Cabanas. For Scuba diving enthusiasts, there is the St John For (San Joao) shipwreck which went down in 1552 and is 300 meters from the beach and is the earliest known shipwreck on the KZN Coast. Port Edward is also known for its flawless and golden beaches that are protected for swimmers. Other points of interest is the, Umtamvuna Nature reserve, The famous Red Desert, Wild Coast Casino and the Umtamvuna river. The Umtamvuna river forms the border between Kwazulu Natal and the Eastern Cape where the last 40kms of this river to the sea goes through what is arguably the most stunning gorge in South Africa
