The Beer Festival, held in February every year, is one of the major events in the Village. There are many festivals and events held in and around the village on weekends, which make for a very engaging getaway. There is a craft cheese maker in the area- one specialising in goats milk cheese . Clarens has many very good restaurants, which ensures that all tastes are catered for. Clarens boasts a magnificent 18-hole golf course. River rafting, ziplining and abseiling are just some of the activities in and around the village.
