Strand is a seaside resort and suburb of the City of Cape Town in the Helderberg region, situated on the northeastern edge of False Bay and near the foot of the Hottentots Holland Mountains. Its geographical position is between Somerset West and Gordon's Bay and is about 50 km southeast of Cape Town City Bowl
The house has an interesting HISTORY which inspired us to its name: Once the home of the late State President, Jim Fouche who was born in the Orange Free State and was a successful farmer, a staunch Republican and a member of the National Party for many years. Fouche served as an Administrator of the Free State from 1954 to 1959 and was promoted to the cabinet, where he served as minister of defence and as minister of agriculture and water affairs. He was elected as the President of South Africa and he established himself in 9 de Jongh Street in Strand, which is now known as the guesthouse Villa the President. The House of Parliament has 1 bedroom. The Prime Minister The House of Parliament has a fully equipped kitchen, a lounge with DSTV, a bath and shower, and rooms open onto a patio with a sea view with its own entrance to the unit

This is a standard room with tea and coffee-making facilities, aircon, DSTV and an en-suite bathroom (with bath and shower). The room does have sea views and opens onto the big patio. Aircon in the room and we have a communal swimming pool

This is ideal for a person that wants their own privacy and does their own thing, lock up and go. The unit consists double bed and lounge area with a small kitchenette and shower and toilet. Only street parking is available at the moment
