In the company of experienced guides, the riders are able to view game from ''close up'', particularly the friendly giraffe. -Guided birding walks (subject to availability) - a 'Step into the Past' history tour, and a local Pedi village tour (subject to availablity) -walking trails, swimming, volleyball, and for children, donkey cart rides, pony rides and an extensive jungle gym. Waterberg Cottages is in the heart of the Waterberg Biosphere. This UNESCO recognised oasis of wild beauty is full of attractions for the nature lover. As well as game drives on our farm there are opportunties to see the Big 5, ride horseback with game, and even see South Africa's only pack of free-roaming wild dogs. If mountain biking or trail running is your thing, we are just 25 minutes from Summerplace and Lindani who both welcome day visitors.
