We have well-appointed rooms that are tastefully decorated & comfortable, a garden cottage that gives you the freedom of self-catering & is wheelchair accessible. All rooms have Internet access. Our lush garden has a large swimming pool with a shallow end for younger guests to enjoy. Or relax outside in the gazebo.
Area Info
Situated in the leafy suburb of Newlands the Wild Olive is only a couple of minutes' walk from Sahara Park cricket stadium the site of many an international match and Newlands Rugby stadium home of Western Province.
The Sports science institute is also located nearby. Newlands being at the side of Table Mountain offers great views of it and easy access to Kirstenbosch botanical gardens and walking trails.
If it's sand and sea you are after the surf beach of Muizenberg or the relaxing Hout Bay is a short drive away
Head a little further to Simons Town with its penguin colony Cape Point National Park and the spectacular views.
Closer to home you have a wonderful choice of fine shopping malls to choose from the closest being Cavendish Square where you will find all the big name stores and some smaller ones too. Eating out in and around Newlands you will find restaurants and fast food outlets to suit all tastes and pockets
