The family holiday house is intended for couples and their children. It is spacious and luxurious with unlimited Wi-Fi, a 3 battery 8kw solar system to avoid power failures and free parking. Dedicated office for remote working includes a small book library. The modern bedrooms are all sea facing. Two of the rooms share a balcony. Three of the rooms have en-suite bathrooms. Two of the bathrooms have bidets. Fourth bathroom includes a bath tub. 2 King size and 2 Queen size beds. The King size beds can be converted into 4 single beds. Hairdryers, towels, beach towels and bedding included. Lounge also has a sea facing balcony. 10 seater custom dining table. Fully fitted chef's kitchen, scullery and laundry with 2 fridge/freezers, ice maker, Nespresso, gas stove, oven, dishwasher, tumble dryer. Games room with a fireplace, flat-screen TV, full DSTV bouquet, pool table, soccer table, dart board. Outside is a double barbeque grill with ember maker under a lattice pergola with a built in dining table. Caretaker in separate flatlet to ensure all goes well.

Yzerfontein is a small harbour town on the picturesque west coast of South Africa. Situated about 80km from Cape Town, the tranquil coastal village is popular for its beautiful beaches, seasonal wild flowers, renowned fishing opportunities, and its picturesque scenery.

Yzerfontein is a fisherman’s dream; famous for its snoek and crayfish. About 60% of all the line fish caught on the west coast happens in Yzerfontein, providing an income to locals. In addition to fishing, other water sports to be enjoyed include swimming, water skiing, boating, and surfing.

Nature lovers will be in their element with activities like mountain biking, whale and dolphin spotting in season, bird watching, scenic drives, and day tours to the surrounding areas. During spring, fields of beautiful wild flowers add colour to the area and provide the perfect backdrop for a family or couple photo. For the energetic, a variety of hiking trails are on offer, such as the Darling Stagger, Elandsfontein Private Reserve, Grotto Bay Coastal Nature Reserve, and Tienie Versveld Reserve. Those who venture into the West Coast National Park can expect to see wildlife such as eland, bontebok, springbok, steenbok, kudu, duiker, Cape mountain zebra, caracal, African wild cat, and the bat eared fox.
