Zwakala River Retreat
Zwakala River Retreat is a perfect place to chill and get away from the stress of city life. Our Limpopo self-catering accommodation is simply beautiful and in some of the accommodations we have chosen not to have electricity. Instead, we believe that the simplicity of candlelight and lamps, steaming hot water from a donkey boiler and a 'lekka' fire make for romance, talking, dreaming and togetherness. For those of you who need electricity for reasons of your own, the Farm House and the Barn House are connected. The newly built Scandinavian-inspired River Cabins are also connected. We have an award-winning craft brewery on site offering a range of natural & delicious beers and for those of you looking to destress an onsite River Spa offers a range of treatments using South African natural products and local oils and herbs

A beautiful eco-friendly two bedroomed cottage built from stone and earth. The cottage has two bathrooms, one en-suite and one separate. The lounge area has two full sized single mattresses on a built in sleeper. No Electricity but Gas stove & Fridge.

This is a beautiful private campsite on the banks of the Broedestroom river. It has a kitchen, a flush toilet and a shower. Go for a dip in the river and soak up the sun in absolute peace. Please note 4x4 cars ONLY
